Common name Brazoria palm, Brazoria palmetto is the only known sabal hybrid. The leaves costapalmate to palmate and are blue-green and measure four feet wide and six feet long. This palm grows leaves pretty quickly but is slow to form a trunk. Once it forms a trunk it can get up to 20 feet in height but it takes many years to do so. This palm likes full sun to part shade. Zone 7b and warmer.
